Teknologi ini bukan yang pertama, karena sudah banyak diaplikasikan oleh merek otomotif terkemuka di dunia, seperti Volvo dan Mercedes-Benz yang bisa memantau pengemudi dan menentukan kapan seharusnya si pengemudi beristirahat.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Belum Ada Teknologi Otonom<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">Teknologi mobil otonom dipersiapkan untuk memberikan banyak kemudahan kepada pengemudi yang relatif memiliki keterbatasan fisik. Tetapi sampai era mobil otonom itu terwujud, tertidur sambil duduk di belakang kemudi masih sangat berbahaya. Sehingga yang kerap kita diberikan sebuah anjuran untuk menepi dan beristirahat sejenak.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">Perusahaan asal Jepang, telah menciptakan suatu sistem <em>in-car <\/em>yang dapat memantau dan mendeteksi rasa kantuk sebelum benar-benar tertidur, lalu memberikan respon mencegah pengemudi jatuh tertidur ke level yang lebih dalam atau biasa kita disebut dengan lelap.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">Namun, Teknologi dari Panasonic ini bersifat pribadi, serta sistem ini secara akurat mengukur tingkat kantuk tersebut dengan memindai ekspresi wajah, kedipan mata, penurunan panas dari tubuh dan pola ilumnasi retina mata. Informasi ini kemudian dikombinasikan dengan informasi yang dikumpulkan di sekitar kendaraan. Seluruh data kemudian diproses menggunakan teknologi kecerdasan buatan untuk menilai level kantuk pengemudi.
